We are proud to partner with our Commercial Fleet and Farming community offering over 20 Truck & Farm service vehicles so we can keep that community moving!
We offer full automotive service and care with our 148 bays, including alignments, batteries, brakes, engine diagnostics, tire installs and repairs, and anything else you might have concerns about. Top of the line brands are used to ensure our loyal customers are getting the best thing out there, including Bridgestone, Firestone, Goodyear, and Kumho tires, Napa parts, and Valvoline full synthetic oil. Now, we even offer 2 mobile passenger car units to bring the help directly to you at your convenience!
In 1966, we began our mission to serve customers with top quality auto care by opening our first shop in Warsaw, IN. We started our second location in Goshen in 1983, and the rest is history! At all 14 of our stores, we have the same goal: to treat you with the loyalty and trust you’ve given us for 55 years and counting!

Monteith's Finishes #1 in 2023 Best Places to Work in the Tire Industry Nationally
- Monteith's Best-One Tire & Auto Care finished in first place in this year's Tire Business Best Places to Work survey. The business, founded in 1966, believes its family culture is the key to everything - from retaining people to providing the quality service that allows them to grow.
Wolfe is happy to share his secret to maintaining a successful and passionate team: "There are 100 different tire shops in this country they could work for. So, it's how we separate ourselves from the competition," Wolfe said. "We believe if we invest in our employees, we'll retain them. If we retain them, they'll get better and attract more good people."
This mentality has led to major growth over the years. Monteith's Best-One now has over 150 employees among its 13 locations across northern Indiana.
Monteith's team has many years of experience. Wolfe said that 22 of their 24 managers were developed within the company. "A lot of us started in the tire bays," Wolfe said. He joined Monteith's in high school in 1994. He took ownership in 2011.
The focus on a strong culture was started by Paul Zurcher (founder of Best-One) and carried on by Ray Monteith (founder of Monteith's Best-One). "We make important to us what is important to employees, Ray Monteith used to always talk about how he ran his business with his heart, not his wallet, and we still try to run the company that way.
